Statement from NAHB Chairman Jerry Konter on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson Being Named to the U.S. Supreme Court

Jerry Konter, chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a home builder and developer from Savannah, Ga., issued the following statement in response to today’s confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be the next Associate Justice to the U.S. Supreme Court:

She brings with her a distinguished legal career as a federal district court and appellate court judge, as well as a former public defender. Her sharp legal mind, character and qualifications make Judge Jackson a worthy successor to retiring Justice Stephen Breyer.”
