Prices of Goods and Services Used in Residential Construction

According to analysis of the most recent release of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index (PPI), the prices of goods used as inputs to residential construction including energy and excluding energy have risen 13.0 percent year-to-date (YTD). In contrast, the overall index for all goods climbed 9.6 percent over the same period.
