Builder members are defined as those whose primary business is single-family home building, multifamily building, residential or commercial remodeling, commercial building, land development, or manufacturing of modular/panelized/log homes.

New single-family and multifamily construction used about $94.9 billion in building products in 2019. Among the major product categories, new residential construction used more than $11 billion each of “cement and concrete products” and “architectural and structural metals.” “Wood products” accounted for over $10 billion.
