Proposal Oversight Groups

Proposal Groups Overview

Proposal Oversight Groups (POGs) are assigned the oversight of a specific set of model codes and standards. The members review all proposed changes and to determine NAHB’s advocacy position on the proposed changes.

Current POGs include Building; Energy and Green; Plumbing and Mechanical; and Structural. The POGs are selected by the Construction, Codes and Standards Committee chair and the terms last for one three-year ICC code cycle.

The POG rosters are in place for the 2018-2019 code cycle. If you are interested in becoming a POG member, applications will be considered in 2020 for the 2021-2022 code cycle.
