The Custom Home Builders Committee represents builders who specialize in the planning and design of custom homes. The committee creates strategic alliances that educate builders in areas related to custom homes and reviews proposed NAHB resolutions and policies as they specifically relate to custom home building.

The committee also sponsors the NAHB Custom Home Builder of the Year Award showcasing the success, dedication and talent of one custom builder per year.
