Brian A. Miller Executive Officer at Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky More about Brian A. Miller Mr. Miller is a native of Villa Hills located in Kenton County, Kentucky. He joined the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky in 2009 where he leads one of the country’s largest builders associations. Prior to returning to Northern Kentucky, he spent eleven years as Vice President of Communications with what was then titled the Home Builders Association of Louisville.

Mr. Miller has served on several committees and boards within the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) including NAHB’s Environmental Issues Committee as Executive Officer Council Liaison, Executive Officers Council Board of Directors for two terms, Past Chairman of the Executive Officers Council Professional Development Committee and has served as Chairman for the Council’s Large Local Association Forum and Public Relations Forum. Currently he serves NAHB’s Executive Officers Council as President for his second consecutive term.

Locally he serves on the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Council, Consensus Committee and the Chamber’s Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Committee. He has participated in several working groups tasked with land use planning, economic development, infrastructure planning and environmental policy for Northern Kentucky and the region.

Mr. Miller is considered by his counterparts as an expert in issues regarding housing, housing economics, workforce development, government affairs, state and local politics, association management, environmental regulations, infrastructure finance, economic development and land use policy and planning and is featured as a panelist and presenter on several of these subjects regionally and at national conferences. He is a past Chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Louisville, Executive Committee member of the Louisville Salvation Army, and a graduate of Leadership Louisville. He was educated at Dixie Heights High School and Eastern Kentucky University and currently resides in Florence, Kentucky.
