Michael Fazio President at woodrow estates More about Michael Fazio Michael Fazio is the Executive Director of the New York State Builders Association. He was formerly a builder/developer with over 35 years of professional experience in the New York metropolitan area. He has built over 900 homes and various commercial buildings, primarily comprised of affordable, middle-income housing designed for working families in New York City.

He is also a former New York State Builders Association (NYSBA) president. Among his accomplishments, he played a pivotal role, under NAHB's auspices, in administering a fund to help address the housing needs of the victims and families of the September 11th terrorist attacks. He was honored for these efforts with a Special Recognition Award by the Associated Builders and Owners of New York. In 2016, Mr. Fazio was inducted into the NYSBA Hall of Fame.

He has held various leadership positions at NAHB, including Chair of the Land Development Committee and New York State Representative. He is a long-time member of the Legal Action Committee and has served as Chair of NAHB's Land Use Structural Inequities Working Group and the Land Use Reform Working Group.

He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees in Economics from Wagner College and attended New York University's Real Estate Institute.
