John Atlee Owner at Water Doctors More about John Atlee I am the owner of Water Doctors, a family-operated water treatment company based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I have spent more than 15 years working in the water treatment industry, with a focus on solving hard water, iron, drinking water, and other problem water conditions that directly impact homes, builders, and long-term homeowner satisfaction.

My work centers on practical, education-first solutions. I believe water treatment should be based on accurate testing, clear explanations, and systems designed for the real conditions of the home, not sales pressure. Builders and trade partners often rely on me as a technical resource when water quality issues affect design, construction, or warranty outcomes.

I am actively involved with the National Association of Home Builders as a National Delegate and currently serve on the Environmental Issues Committee and the Business Management and Information Technology Committee. I am also President of the Water Quality Association of Wisconsin Board of Directors.

Through my business and industry involvement, I work to improve how water quality is understood, specified, and addressed in residential construction.
