Young professionals are the future of our industry and our associations. To help local HBAs build that future, NAHB and the Young Professionals Committee are awarding six $1,000 YP Development Grants to local Young Professionals groups.

The grant can fund almost anything that develops YP members at the local level. Host a networking or education event. Send a rising YP member to the International Builders' Show. Launch a recruitment push to bring new young members into your association. If it grows, engages or develops your YPs, it qualifies.

Who can apply: Any local HBA with an active Young Professionals group, or a plan to start one.

How to apply: Complete this short application by October 31st. Tell us what you want to do, who it will reach and how you will measure success. Winners will be announced November 18th.

  • I will use funds only for the project described.
  • I will submit a one-page final report with results and at least one photo by March, 2027.
  • I will credit NAHB and the Young Professionals Committee in project promotion.
