NAHB is a Federation of more than 700 state and local home building associations – from large metropolitan associations of more than 1,000 members and dozens of education, advocacy and networking initiatives to smaller, rural associations with as few as 20 home builder members.

What all associations have in common is a passion for community service. You’ll never find a more generous group of people than home builders, whether they are raising money for worthy charities, volunteering in mentoring programs, or doing what they do best: building. Home builders, remodelers, and their trade and professional partners construct everything from playhouses to wheelchair ramps to home additions to brand-new houses for deserving families.

Larger home building associations often have their own charitable foundations and support multiple philanthropic efforts. But that doesn’t mean that teams of committed volunteers from smaller associations can’t accomplish great things.

What is your organization’s mission statement? When were you founded? What particular markets or regions are you targeting?
