Emerging Leader Grant Acceptance
We are pleased to notify you that your grant application has been accepted, and that you are eligible to receive up to $1000 to be used towards the cost of attending the upcoming NAHB Leadership Meeting.
Grant program participants will be awarded funding after the event once all eligibility requirements listed below have been fulfilled. Please contact NAHB staff if you require an exception from any of the program requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the NAHB Emerging Leader Grant, the member must fulfill the following requirements:
- Be an active member of the National Association of Home Builders.
- Are currently serving (or have recently served) in a leadership capacity at the local or state level either on a committee or as an association secretary, treasurer, vice president, president or similar role.
- Aspire to learn about the business proceedings conducted during the NAHB Spring and Fall Leadership Meetings.
- Have not previously attended an NAHB Spring or Fall Leadership Meeting.
- Agree to submit post event feedback about their event experience.
- Agree to provide a copy of all travel expenses (flight, mileage, meals, etc.). Expenses will be reimbursed as outlined in the NAHB Travel Reimbursement Policy.
