Stay on Message: Access NAHB's Latest Housing Talking Points

To help members articulate key housing priorities, NAHB’s Monthly Update provides the Federation’s latest messaging framework. This month’s update includes talking points on issues such as:

• Immigration enforcement: NAHB’s response to immigration enforcement actions that are keeping legal workers off job sites.

• Tariffs: The NAHB-supported Housing Tariff Exclusion Act, which would automatically exempt many home building materials from current and future tariffs.

• WOTUS: A new EPA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers “waters of the United States” (WOTUS) proposal would eliminate the “wet season” concept.

The monthly update is accessible to members, executive officers and HBA staff who are logged on to nahb.org. In addition to the talking points, members can access the Senior Officers’ HBA travel schedule for the next six months.
