NAHB’s Monthly Update Features Trade and Economic Trends
To help members articulate key housing priorities, NAHB’s Monthly Update provides the Federation’s latest messaging framework. This month’s update includes talking points on issues such as:
- U.S.-Canada trade disputes. Trade actions could create more uncertainty for home builders over building material supply chains and pricing.
- Slow economic momentum. Heightened policy uncertainty, tariffs and higher energy prices driven by the Iran war are weakening macroeconomic conditions.
- NAHB strategic initiatives. Feedback from the Industry Pulse Check reveals members’ interest in modernizing the association.
The monthly update is accessible to members, executive officers and HBA staff who are logged on to nahb.org. In addition to the talking points, members can access the Senior Officers’ HBA travel schedule for the next six months.
