To help members articulate key housing priorities, NAHB’s Monthly Update provides the latest messaging framework for the Federation. This month’s update includes talking points on topics such as:

  • The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. NAHB provides an analysis of the bill’s key provisions that will increase single-family and multifamily production and support more remodeling activity.
  • Housing Economics. Dr. Robert Dietz, NAHB’s Chief Economist, provides insights on inflationary pressures, along with builder and buyer sentiment.
  • Tariffs. The NAHB advocacy team provides a summary of recent tariff developments, new levies imposed, and anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Canadian softwood lumber imports.

The monthly update is accessible to members, executive officers and HBA staff who are logged on to nahb.org. In addition to the talking points, members can access the Senior Officers’ HBA travel schedule for the next six months.
