Associate Members Set New Revenue Record in NAHB Census

NAHB Associate members set a new record with a median revenue of $3.02 million in 2024, $20,000 higher than the record posted in 2023, showing another year of success for NAHB’s largest member group.

Associate members of the NAHB Federation include the home building industry’s suppliers, service providers and product manufacturers who support some of the most vital components of the Federation.

Other highlights from the census include:

• Associate members account for approximately 65% of NAHB’s membership.
• The share of Associate members who identify as female rose one percentage point to 25%.
• Associate members had a median of 12 employees on payroll.

The census also broke down the businesses in which Associate members work.

The most prevalent business is subcontracting/specialty trade contracting at 42%, down three percentage point from 2023. The next-largest segments include professional specialties (12%), financial services (10%), retail dealership/distributorships (9%) and wholesale dealerships/distributorships (5%).
