NAHB Kicks off Associate Member Appreciation Month
Throughout the month of September, NAHB is celebrating the contributions and successes of its roughly 70,000 Associate members during Associate Member Appreciation Month.
Associate members make up nearly two-thirds of NAHB’s membership and represent a wide array of professions including subcontractors, financial services, retail and wholesale, manufacturing, accounting and more.
“[Associates] have the expertise, skills and materials that push the home building industry forward and [their] work has never been more important,” said NAHB Chairman Carl Harris. “It’s no secret that our industry continues to face some tough challenges, but Associates stand shoulder to shoulder and help us fight for home building — whether it’s on Capitol Hill or in your local community.”
Over the month of September, we’ll highlight the crucial work Associate members do to provide the support, trade skills and materials that every housing professional needs to conduct business.
You can help celebrate them, too.
Consider:
- Nominating an Associate member for an Associates of Excellence Award to spotlight their contributions. Honors include the Associate Advocate of BUILD-PAC award and Associate of the Year award.
- Submitting standout members for a potential feature in NAHB's Associates Facebook group by including their name, title, company, accomplishments, reason for nomination and a picture.
- Promoting the importance of hiring Associate members by sharing Do Business with an NAHB Member graphics.
