Resources to Promote the Housing Industry in Your Community
To help home builders associations and members become a trusted resource for housing-related information in their community, NAHB has new customizable videos available.
NAHB provides a monthly housing-related video in an easy-to-download format for members and HBAs. The short videos, narrated by NAHB’s housing industry avatars, contain information related to home buying, home maintenance, remodeling, trends, and green/sustainability. As an HBA and NAHB member benefit, the videos are available for logo and website address customization at no cost.
The videos can supplement existing consumer content on websites or social media channels. Videos currently available for download include:
- How to Find an Honest Contractor
- Top 3 Advantages of Open Floor Plans
- Solving the Housing Affordability Crisis
- Tips for Conserving Water at Home
NAHB will add a new video to nahb.org monthly in conjunction with the customizable consumer articles. HBAs and members can customize NAHB's consumer articles for local newspapers, parade or home show magazines, newsletters, or websites. The consumer videos and articles can help members and HBAs share home-building industry news and timely information with their communities.
HBAs and members can sign up for NAHB's Public Relations Exchange (PRx) emails to receive notifications when new consumer articles and videos are available. The PRx is an email to HBA staff and NAHB members interested in furthering their organizations' public relations activity. In addition to consumer articles, PRx emails are sent to subscribers when NAHB's monthly talking points, new consumer-focused content, or toolkits are available.
