The latest edition of Building Women Magazine, available now to NAHB members, introduces 2023 Professional Women in Building (PWB) Chair Meg Thompson.

The annual magazine features Thompson’s push for a brighter future for women in building behind the mantra “Together We Soar.” It also spotlights how Thompson established herself in the industry, the importance of PWB’s virtual opportunities including Shop Talks and Local Council Meetups, and her look ahead for women in building.

Other stories include:

  • Lessons from leaders on why women are starting construction businesses
  • A guide on how to talk to home owners about construction challenges
  • A piece on removing barriers to bring more women into the home building workforce
  • A look back from 2022 PWB Chair Terri Everhart
  • PWB’s 2022 nationwide accomplishments

Read the magazine and learn about the benefits to having a PWB membership at nahb.org/womeninbuilding.
