Do you need advocacy assistance? NAHB’s state and local government affairs team can help with issues related outreach, messaging or stakeholder engagement. Specifically, the team can:

• Review and analyze pending legislation
• Review or draft a letter in support or opposition of an issue
• Review or draft testimony to submit to local elected officials
• Recommend or review state or local model legislation
• Educate members on state and local resources available from NAHB
• Provide data, reports or analysis on common state and local issues
• Serve as a liaison/representative at local meetings with lawmakers or at coalition meetings
• Establish a local government affairs committee at your association
• Provide council on local political campaigns
