OSHA Inspection Toolkit

Safety

The construction industry has historically been deemed a high-hazard industry by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and, as a result, home builders are frequently the subject of OSHA inspections. OSHA is authorized to conduct inspections of construction job sites to determine if employers are complying with OSHA safety standards, and investigations are conducted by OSHA compliance safety and health officers.

This toolkit provides builders and trade contractors with resources for dealing with OSHA’s stepped-up enforcement and increased penalties.
