Resolved that the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) urge Congress to repeal the requirement that appraisers for loans guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) be assigned from the VA appraiser roster on a rotating basis.

Further resolved to urge Congress to direct the VA to reinstate reciprocity by accepting appraisals originally performed for loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration.
