I assist with finding services that are relevant to their situation as well as promoting self-sufficiency and aging in place, which all agree is much more desirable than moving into a skilled facility. I have worked with persons who live with a disability for many years, and I am aware of the challenges they face in their homes, communities and throughout their lifetime. I am also aware of issues and challenges people face when there is an acquired disability (resulting from a medical condition, motor vehicle accident, injury from military service, etc.), and how this new standard in their life may be difficult to accept. I enjoy visiting with people to discuss what their hopes, dreams, and concerns are, and helping them find solutions that fit their needs, lifestyles and future. I am skilled at working with people of all ages and look forward to meeting you and assisting you with your Aging In Place questions and needs!
