Beyond his everyday responsibilities, Kevin has served on the Texas Association of Builders Board of Directors; the 2017 President of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), Remodelers Council; and as Vice President of the Remodelers Council in 2016. Kevin also served on the GHBA Board of Directors 2020-2022.

Kevin is a member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and served on the ASID Board of Directors as Financial Director 2020 & 2021, the ASID Ruby Awards Committee in 2019, and the ASID Showhouse Committee in 2025.

Kevin was awarded the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Council for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence Award (CADRE) in 2018.

Vick Construction & Remodeling has a Houston Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating of A+ and has received the BBB's highest honor in 2024, the Awards for Excellence-Pinnacle Award.
