The BA of South Florida invited National, State, and Local Leaders to give their perspectives on navigating the housing affordability crisis in South Florida during their annual virtual fundraising event. The event had members and guests listen to the latest from guest speakers about how to navigate the Housing Affordability crisis.
The event featured two panels. The first was titled “Pull Out the Stops and Build More Housing” with guest speakers including a Florida Congresswoman, the Director of Miami-Dade County Public Housing and the Miami-Dade County Commissioner. The second panel, “Facing Today’s Housing Challenges Together” and featured speakers including a Florida State Representative and two BA of South Florida Trustee members. The HBA was able to surpass its $15,000 goal and earned a net profit of $29,521.
