HBAs are invited to participate in Build Across America.

Build Across America is NAHB’s national workforce development program that introduces young children to the trades during Careers in Construction Month. HBAs across the country will host this event for local children, grades K-6, on Oct. 29, 2022.

The House That She Built book inspired the Build Across America initiative which aims to address the skilled labor shortage by educating and exposing children to STEAM and construction careers and elevating women in the industry. Students will learn about careers in construction directly from tradespeople and engage in hands-on projects that will cultivate curiosity and creativity.
