Train the Trainer
NAHB offers a variety of educational courses taught by industry professionals who wish to share their knowledge and experience with their peers. This course provides these professionals with the training skills needed to effectively use NAHB course materials to teach the NAHB Education curriculum. You will come away with concepts and tools to help you bridge the gap between knowing the information and teaching it to others. Register for the class by contacting Tatiana Molina. As a graduate, you will be able to:
- Describe adult learning principles and how they impact training.
- Prepare to teach NAHB instructor-led, classroom courses.
- Present information and concepts effectively in a classroom setting.
- Use questioning techniques to facilitate learning.
- Conduct learning activities to provide opportunities for practical application of knowledge and skills.
- Use visual aids to support learning.
Who should take this class?
Building industry professionals who wish to teach NAHB educational instructor-led, classroom courses, new trainers or experienced teachers who have had no formal education in training, or anyone who wants a refresher to improve their classroom training skills

Additional Credit Information
6 AIBD CE. All face-to-face and online education provided by NAHB is approved by the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) for continuing education units. Members of the Institute seeking credit must self-report by submitting a form and providing verification of attendance or completion.
