Creating a Successful Marketing Strategy for Remodelers 


As peak remodeling season gets into full swing, it’s the perfect time for professional remodelers to evaluate their marketing approach to determine if they’re maximizing their outreach efforts, which can generate new business. 

On May 9 at 4 p.m. ET, NAHB Remodelers will host a Shop Talk focusing on the key components of creating an effective marketing plan for business owners as part of NAHB’s National Home Remodeling Month celebration.

During the hour-long discussion, moderator Vince Butler, CAPS, GMB, GMR, will guide a group discussion featuring members of NAHB Remodelers that will focus on best practices for optimizing an annual marketing strategy. Some critical tactics to be discussed include:

  • Setting measurable goals
  • Identifying a clear target audience
  • Using gathered data to drive decision making

Shop Talk participants will also explore methods for how to adapt to changing market landscapes, weighing the pros and cons of paper versus digital marketing campaigns, as well as gathering and using metrics and customer feedback to improve their outreach strategy.
