In preparation for the 2024 Legislative Conference on June 12 in Washington, D.C., NAHB members are encouraged to register to attend a live webinar on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 3 p.m. ET to learn more about the key issues to discuss with their legislators.

The Issues Briefing webinar will feature NAHB policy experts who will provide members with the most impactful and timely information on the housing industry’s challenges. These high-priority topics will include strategies to address:

  • Fixing supply chain disruptions to boost transformer production;
  • Reversing a disastrous energy codes policy that places homeownership out of reach for families; and
  • Easing the chronic workforce shortage by keeping Job Corps fully funded.

In addition to the webinar, the NAHB Government Affairs team has compiled resources on nahb.org for members to help ensure their Legislative Conference meetings are a success. These tools include U.S. Senate and House directories, lobbying tips and template meeting invitations. Plus, a one-page summary of each issue and a brochure is available to help prepare meeting talking points.

Registration is required to attend the briefing. A recording of the webinar will be available on nahb.org.
