2023 Remodeler of the Year

Elliott Pike

Elliott Pike is the 2023 NAHB Remodeler of the Year. In 2008, he founded ELM Construction, LLC, a residential design and remodeling company in the Birmingham, Ala., market. Since then, ELM has seen steady profitable growth, due in large part to the careful way Pike has built his team. He places a high value on hiring employees who don’t just work well, but who work well together.

Pike’s dedication to his team can be seen in ELM’s competitive compensation packages and opportunities for employees to grow personally and professionally. With a team that is cohesive and well-cared-for, ELM completes an average of 20-25 projects per year including kitchens, bathrooms and basements.

Pike has been active in his local, state and national HBAs for much of his time in the residential construction industry. He’s served on multiple executive committees and boards at every level including chairing the Remodelers Councils for the Greater Birmingham and Alabama Home Builders’ Associations in 2016 and 2017.

Most recently, Pike was a Trustee Alternate for one of NAHB’s 20 Clubs in 2021 and 2022. He’s also received several industry awards including the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders’ prestigious Vondal Gravlee Award in 2020 and multiple recognitions by the Best of Houzz Awards and the Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards.
