More about Justin Olear
My career in homebuilding began in 2008 when I gained an internship with a local Architectural firm. After two successful semesters studying under three of the firm’s primary partners, I attended Philadelphia University. I studied Architecture with a minor in Construction Management. During my senior year, I was approached for an internship with Regal Builders. After beginning my internship with Regal, I was accepted into my Master’s program at Philadelphia University, an accelerated one year program. Regal supported my decision by allowing me to maintain flexible hours while taking evening courses. After earning my Masters in Construction Management, I was chosen for a project management role within Regal Builders. During my time as a Project Manager, we slashed our construction costs nearly in half. By negotiating and renegotiating vendor contracts, we compressed our construction build times from 7-8 months down to 4 months and 2 weeks. A year and a half ago I was promoted to Vice President of Construction and Operations. During my time as Vice President, I oversaw and coordinated a complete relaunch of Regal Builder’s active lifestyle community, Noble’s Pond in Dover, DE. This included work with consultants, architects, interior designers, and marketing agencies. The relaunch was completed in October of 2017 and due to the carefully strategized and constructed Welcome Village, sales have tripled in one year. The Welcome Village includes a 4,000 sf Welcome Center, 3 brand new model homes, a 4,500 sf Design Studio and a show space for over 70 distinguished awards given to Noble’s Pond since its opening in 2007. During my time as Vice President, I have helped Regal earn additional multiple local and national awards.
