More about Julie Stark
Julie began her career with CDC Designs in 1986 after graduating with Honors from the Fashion Institute of Design + Merchandising in Los Angeles. She began as an intern and quickly found herself immersed into every designer role within the company, ultimately becoming a Principal in the firm in 2003. She is currently one of the hands-on leaders of our dynamic team of over 70 employees, who are devoted to the art of interior design for numerous model homes, sales environments, clubhouses and apartment communities throughout the United States. She collaborates with prestigious architects and project consultants within our industry to stay on the forefront of trends in design, products, lifestyle and sustainability while overseeing the design process for each project she leads through to the final installation. Julie is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the Color Marketing Group. The company is a member of the California Building Industry Association, Greater Sales and Marketing Council of Orange County and Urban Land Institute. Those seeking her expertise invite her frequently to judge or consult on product and design competitions within the design industry as well as speak at events such as the International Builders Show and Pacific Coast Builders Conference. When she is not designing, Julie enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Wade and her daughter, Sophia. Julie is closely involved in collaborating with CDC’s chosen charity, Mercy House which provides housing and supportive services for a variety of homeless populations throughout Orange County and was a founding member of ABC Charities, a non-for-profit organization focused on the advancement of under privileged children.
