Joe Pusateri More about Joe Pusateri Joe is the President and Owner of Elite Homes, Inc. which he founded in 1976. Elite builds 150-200 homes a year ranging from $300,000 to over $600,000 and is the largest private and locally-owned home building company in Louisville, Ky. Elite Homes has built over 2,000 homes in the greater Louisville area over the last 41 years. Elite Homes is currently developing 9 subdivisions in the metro area. Joe has been involved in the Louisville community for over 4 decades. In 1993, he brought Homearama to Smoketown, an impoverished inner city area, which were the first new homes built in Smoketown in 50 years. In 2003, he organized a rescue package to help save the Louisville Orchestra from bankruptcy and subsequently served as President of the Louisville Orchestra from 2005-2008. In 2006, as the Board President, he negotiated a new 5-year collective bargaining agreement, which resulted in the Musicians union agreeing to $1.9 million in pay cuts. In 2007 and 2010, his company built a home for the Extreme Makeover Home Edition TV show. Joe is a member of the National Speakers Association and speaks frequently on motivation, leadership and negotiation.
