Homes just keeping getting smarter! These days, it’s almost impossible to find a household without a virtual home assistant, capable of controlling lights, locks, and more. Now, we’ve developed a new product that can integrate with these devices to help you control your heated floors.

Introducing Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-E-RS1, our new smart thermostat for our DITRA-HEAT floor warming systems. This thermostat offers easy third-party integration with popular voice and home assistants, such as Google Home, Apple Home, and Amazon Alexa. Featuring a sleek design with a mirror finish, the thermostat looks just as smart as its capabilities.

Our new smart thermostat offers multiple energy-saving functions, including geofencing to adjust the temperature of your floor depending on your distance from your house. You can also create “Scenes” to apply specific settings based on your activities to get just the right amount of heat under your feet. Cold in the morning? Set up a Morning Scene so your DITRA-HEAT is set to the perfect temperature to start your day.

The DITRA-HEAT-E-RS1 is capable of handling both small and large scale DITRA-HEAT floor warming applications. For larger installations, use with the DITRA-HEAT-E-RRS power module, designed to work exclusively with our smart thermostat. The power module may be used when the heating load exceeds 15 amps to maintain a single point of control. The thermostat can also be controlled no matter where you are! Simply download the Schluter Smart Thermostat App via the App store (iOS) or Google Play store (android) to control your settings using your smart device.

The new DITRA-HEAT-E-RS1 is compatible with all DITRA-HEAT products, including our new DITRA-HEAT-PS and DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS peel & stick floor warming membranes.
