Millions of Union Members Can Benefit From Wells Fargo Mortgage Program

Put more buyers into your homes with the Union Plus^® Mortgage program, with financing provided by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. This program offers unique benefits to active and retired union members along with their family members including spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, and stepchildren. The Union Plus Mortgage program is available to 60 national and international labor unions that represent 30,000 local unions and 12.5 million union members. Wells Fargo has proudly been a lender for this unique program since 2013.

When union families verify their eligibility and finance their home through Wells Fargo and the Union Plus Mortgage program, they can take advantage of several benefits.

The Mortgage Assistance Program provided by Union Plus provides no-interest loans or grants to eligible mortgage holders who experience a loss of income due to involuntary job loss, disability, furlough, strike or lockout to help make mortgage payments. Over the life of the mortgage assistance benefit, more than $12 million has been provided in assistance, saving thousands of members’ homes. This benefit is available to dues-paying union members, their parents and children who meet certain criteria.¹

A My Mortgage Gift^SM award - a $500 value when buying a home, or a $300 value for refinancing - is provided by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage after verified union members close on their home through the program and mention their eligibility.²

Veterans who purchase or refinance³ their primary residence through this program can apply for a $1,000 Veteran’s Grant from Union Plus⁴. Applications must be submitted to Union Plus within 120 days of closing. Terms and restrictions apply.

Redemption instructions for the My Mortgage Gift^SM award will be sent within two weeks after closing on a new purchase or refinance loan secured by an eligible first mortgage or deed of trust with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (“New Loan”). Eligibility is subject to qualification, approval, closing, and having an open consumer deposit, brokerage, or investment account with Wells Fargo Bank, NA, or Wells Fargo Advisors at the time of your mortgage funding. The My Mortgage Gift^SM program is not available in combination with any Wells Fargo employee mortgage offer, and may not be permissible with other awards, discounts, or rebates. Only one My Mortgage Gift award is permitted per eligible New Loan; purchase transactions qualify for a $500 My Mortgage Gift^SM and refinance transactions qualify for a $300 My Mortgage Gift^SM. This award is void where prohibited, not transferable, and subject to change or cancellation with no prior notice. Awards may constitute taxable income. Federal, state, and local taxes, and any use of the award not otherwise specified in the Terms and Conditions (available at wellsfargo.com/mymortgageterms and provided at receipt of award) are the sole responsibility of the My Mortgage Gift^SM recipient.
3. If your buyer is a service member on active duty, an eligible spouse, partner, or dependent, or currently receiving SCRA benefits, the buyer should consult with their legal advisor prior to seeking a refinance of their existing mortgage loan. In some cases, a refinance may impact their eligibility for benefits under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act or applicable state law.
