Women of the Future Grants promote continuing education and leadership development among PWB members. All PWB members who have an active membership may apply. However, preference is given to candidates in local PWB leadership roles (e.g., local council president or local council president-elect) who are exploring leadership roles at the national level of PWB. At-large PWB members are also encouraged to apply.
Active NAHB PWB members may apply for an education grant to help defray costs associated with attending NAHB-approved designations course, building related certification courses, a two- or four-year college or university course in an industry related program, courses related to certification or licensing maintenance, or other programs that enhance professional development in the trades.
The NAHB Professional Women in Building member travel grant is established to help defray costs associated with attending Professional Women in Building meetings that are held in conjunction with NAHB’s Spring Leadership Meeting. The goal of this grant is to encourage local council leaders to learn more about NAHB Professional Women in Building and become involved with the Council in a leadership role at the national level.
