2019 Fall Transitional Board Meeting

The 2019 Fall Transitional Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Washington, D.C. Transitional board members can participate online or in person, but all participants must register. Simply click on the registration link and complete the form.

The meeting registration deadline for in-person attendees is Friday, Sept. 6. Web participants must register by 8 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Housing is available for transitional board members at the Darcy Hotel at 1515 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. Please check the schedule for your approved travel dates. Reservations can be made online or by calling 202-232-7000. Please inform the hotel that you will be attending the NAHB Fall Transitional Board Meeting to receive the group rate.

The deadline for hotel reservations is Friday, Aug. 9. If you miss the deadline, or if you need to make adjustments to your reservation, please call the hotel first at 202-232-7000. If you have problems, please contact Renee Thomas at 202-266-8189.

The NAHB room rate is not to exceed $319 plus 14.95% tax per night.

Hotel policies regarding individual room reservations, cancellations and no-show fees are as follows:

  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card when the reservation is made.
  • Reservations must be cancelled by 5:00 p.m. ET 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s stay plus tax.
  • Check-in is at 3 p.m.
  • Check-out is at 12 p.m.
  • Valet parking service: $50 plus tax
  • An early departure fee of one night's stay plus tax will apply if a group attendee checks out prior to the originally confirmed check out date.

As a reminder, transitional board members will be reimbursed for documented meeting expenses using the Member Travel Reimbursement Form, per the 2019 NAHB Travel Reimbursement Policy

Association Planning Committee, National Area Chairmen and State Representative webcast participants will receive log-in information from the staff liaison.
