Lisa McElwain is a Senior Digital Media Strategist and Paid Media Domain Lead at Immersion Active. She's been marketing to Boomers and seniors (and their adult children) online since 2011, most recently with Immersion Active and previously at an agency focused on marketing retirement communities and senior care services.
With over 12 years of digital marketing experience, Lisa started her career at a leading digital advertising technology company in Kansas City, MO, where she spent three years managing paid search advertising campaigns for hundreds of advertisers across many verticals. From there, she made a move to another KC ad agency where she continued to develop her paid search skills and got her first taste of local/small business marketing and SEO. From there, she landed at GlynnDevins Marketing & Advertising, where she started as a Search Marketing Manager and eventually lead a team of Digital Marketing Managers, overseeing the strategy, execution and performance of SEM (PPC & SEO), display and paid social campaigns for 50+ CCRC, assisted living and memory care clients across the country. In 2016, Lisa relocated to Frederick, MD, to join Immersion Active in her current role.
Lisa has a passion for helping clients achieve exceptional ROI by reaching the right audience at the right time, with the right message. She loves to write and be creative, but she's also analytical and detail-oriented, and she loves a challenge -- all things that enable her to excel at digital marketing campaigns. In addition to paid media, she's also well-versed in Google Analytics, local search marketing, conversion rate optimization, search engine optimization, and online reputation management.
