David Fletcher is arguably the most experienced new homes real estate broker in history, and has written about his experiences with both builders and Realtors for Realty Times and Inman News since the 2002. He began his real estate career as the project manager for Bay Islands Club in St. Petersburg, FL.
He spent his entire 35-year career recruiting, training, and supervising full- time onsite Realtor teams representing custom home builders and condominium builder-developers. His teams sold more than $3 billion representing more than 70 communities, including 27 lender workouts, 13 rental conversions, one TPC golf community (Prestancia in Sarasota, FL), and 16 subdivisions.
He established and directed the new homes division for Merrill Lynch Realty as a profit center, which earned 350,000 NOI, its first year, was featured as a Lifetime Achiever by Keller Williams Realty International, and chaired the Sales and Marketing Council for the Florida Home Builder Association.
He is author of Condominium Sales and Listings, published by Reston Publishing Company, has been a featured speaker for the National Association of Realtors, and has written an online new homes course from the real estate agents perspective, approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission for three hours CE credit. Graduates also earn the New Home Co-Broker (NHCB).
David is married, a grandfather, and a veteran of the United States Air Force, as crew member on the B-36 bomber. He holds a degree in Economics from Florida Southern College.
He bases much of his training content and principles on what he learned from the book, The Training of The Twelve by AB Bruce.
