Daniel is a Studio Director at the Newport Beach and Los Angeles offices of Humphreys & Partners Architects, where the work focuses on market driven high-density mixed-use urban infill, and also includes innovative retail and lifestyle office projects. His work history has included every challenge, from programming and master planning to new residential product development. Daniel’s particular strength is working with both clients and design teams to elicit specific project vision, then crafting both narratives and solutions to bring it to life. He is a frequent contributor to trade journals and a speaker at industry events.
Daniel holds a BArch degree from Cornell University, and studied at Talbot Theological Seminary before launching his architectural career. He was a recipient of the 2000 AIA Orange County President’s Award for his work with mentoring and the Intern Development Program(IDP). He has served as a juror for the AIA Orange County Design Awards, Multi-housing News Design Awards, and most recently the Pacific Coast Builders’ Conference Gold Nugget Awards.
