Catherine Schoenenberger is President and Owner of Stay Safe Traffic Products, Inc. (established 2002). She has taught Work Zone Safety for the LTAP (Local Technical Assistance Programs) throughout New England since 1998. She has served the municipal highway and public work departments as a conscientious supplier, and has relied heavily on the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for much of her dispensed advice and resulting product sales.
Catherine successfully completed the American Traffic Safety Services Association’s (ATSSA) requirements to train and certify flaggers throughout the country. The courses included Traffic Control Technician, Traffic Control Supervisor and Flagger Instructor Training. She is also certified in CPR and AED. She is also among only a handful of approved certified instructors for Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ flagger certification program, and absolutely the sole female.
Ms. Schoenenberger currently serves as 2017 - 2018 National President of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC); she is an active member of the Granite State Chapter #218. She is the founder and President of the NH Construction Career Days, which will hold its 9th Annual event in New Boston NH September 28th and 29th 2017.
She is a 1985 Summa Cum Laude Graduate of University of Massachusetts-Lowell with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Catherine attended the “school of hard knocks” to gain much of her education via experience in business management, advertising, finance and team building. She is a native of Westford, Massachusetts, and she, with her husband of 31 years (Keith), reside and work there still.
