Avi Rosenthal has been in the low-voltage industry for over 20 years. He has held numerous positions in the industry, including Vice President of Security & Control for Nortek Security and Control, Vice President of Evolve Guest Controls, a company that developed the first retro-fitable guestroom energy management system for the hospitality industry, VP of Sales and Marketing for Superna, a home control manufacturer, the National Program Manager for On-Q/Legrand, a consultant to CompUSA and many other low-voltage integration firms around the world. He co-founded one of the largest Integration firms in the US. He is currently working with numerous start-ups developing the next generation of IoT.
In the process he revolutionized the industry by developing the concept of up-selling to every home buyer during the design process. Before entering the low-voltage industry, he held numerous positions dealing with the marketing and installation of computers, networks, automation systems and audio/video systems.
Avi has been profiled in CE Pro and Electronic House Magazine and quoted as an "Industry Expert" in USA Today, Sun-Sentinel, and many other publications, as well has appeared on NBC-4 News, Good Morning Orlando, HGTV, and This NEW House. He is a board member of the TechHome Division of the Consumer Technology Association (formally CEA). Avi has written for many publications about the Integration Industry, as well as for a textbook to train people in the Integration Industry. Avi is also a regular speaker and lecturer at Industry Trade Events.
He is the recipient of the prestigious CTA Mark of Excellence Leadership Award.
Avi lives in San Diego, CA with his wife Robin and his three children, Alexandra, Julie and Benjamin.
