NAHB Honors Building Systems Industry Leaders

November 29, 2017

The National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) Building Systems Councils (BSC) and the Log and Timber Homes Council bestowed 28 awards to systems-built industry manufacturers and home builders during its annual Building Systems Housing Summit held in Hershey, Pa. The 2018 BSC Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design were awarded to BSC members who demonstrated high achievement in home construction and marketing.

The awards recognize companies that excel in manufacturing and building modular, panelized, log, concrete and timber frame homes. Recipients of the BSC's awards were recognized for excellence in a range of categories such as website design, social media marketing and floor plan design.

"We are proud to honor the year's best in marketing and home design in the systems-built industry," said Norm Hall, BSC chairman and factory-built structures industry manager for Simpson Strong-Tie. "The systems-built industry continues to grow, and this was reflected in the increased number of entries we received. We're also pleased to see that this year's award winners represent each of the five manufacturing disciplines that make up the BSC."

Select projects will be on display on the BSC's Awards Wall during the International Builders' Show, Jan. 9 - 11, 2018, in Orlando, Fla. For a complete list of winners visit: www.nahb.org/bscawards.
