HBA Sustainability Network

Circle Image

Many HBAs around the country have initiatives focused on sustainability. No matter what you call it –green building, high performance, environmentally friendly – some HBAs have staff members assigned to them while others have committees or councils dedicated to this important topic.

Each HBA implements strategies to serve its membership in their own way, but many have programs that are similar.

The HBA Sustainability Network is a forum to share ideas, initiatives and events and to connect groups that have similar sustainability interests and goals. This connection of people creates a network, serving as a way to build capacity and create efficiencies. The group is open to those with all levels of experience and involvement.

Do you want to get involved? We welcome you to join our calls on the third Tuesday of every other month. The next call will be held Dec. 18 from 3:30-5 p.m. ET. Share your expertise or learn about setting up your own green building-focused programs. Please contact Megan Alise Carroll, program manager for sustainability and green building at 202-266-8325.
