NAHB Multifamily represents the specific interests of builders, developers, owners and managers of all sizes and types of rental apartments and condominiums, including affordable and tax-credit housing, garden and low-rise apartments, mid- and high-rise apartments, condominium housing, student housing, military and veterans housing, and mixed-used multifamily communities. HBA Multifamily Councils
Many local home builders associations (HBAs) have created local multifamily councils where members network and share knowledge on multifamily development issues. Ask your HBA if it has one. If it doesn’t, explore the opportunity to create one.
Multifamily Leadership Board
The NAHB Multifamily Leadership Board (MLB) is comprised of a select, limited number of top multifamily housing executives who are the driving force behind the nation’s development of market-rate and affordable apartments, as well as condominiums. The MLB meets twice a year.
Housing Credit Group
The NAHB Housing Credit Group is an organization of professionals engaged in the development and management of affordable rental housing using the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
Housing Credit Certified Professional Program
The Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers and others working in the affordable housing industry through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.;
