Resolved that NAHB support the inclusion of cost-effective performance-based provisions within all model energy codes and standards;
Further resolved that NAHB consider supporting proposed changes to existing model energy codes and standards that increase compliance options or reduce limitations;
and Further resolved that the design choices in the performance-based provisions of model energy codes and standards should not be limited, and that all options for increasing energy efficiency should be permitted.
