NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz, and many others, say that housing is already in recession. With chances increasing of a broader economic downturn, how should home builders prepare their businesses?

As a part of Young Professionals (YP) Week, NAHB is hosting a free shop talk Thursday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. ET, Weathering a Recession: Tools to Get Your Business to the Other Side. The shop talk format is designed to engage participants with back and forth conversations and opportunities for questions.

Join panelists Jake Harris with Build Wallet, an NAHB YP Member, and NAHB's AVP of Construction Liability and Insurance Felicia Watson in the discussion. Harris will share his experience living through the last recession and Watson will discuss important preparations for your business heading into uncertain times.

They will also engage the audience to see what changes are being made in anticipation of leaner operations and what they're hearing in the marketplace right now.

Sign up for the shop talk today. The discussion is being held on Microsoft Teams.
