After a robust turnout for the 2022 event in Orlando this past February, the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) is gearing up for a great event Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2023, in Las Vegas.

IBS teams up again with NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) to host Design + Construction Week®, which will be co-dating this year alongside the National Hardware Show®. Nearly 700 companies — a 15% jump from this time last year, more than 10% of which are new exhibitors — have committed to IBS thus far as attendees and exhibitors alike prepare for registration to open in the coming weeks.

"Our international sales are up 28% over 2022 IBS, and many domestic companies who did not attend the 2022 IBS are back in for the 2023 event," shared Michael Currier, NAHB VP of exhibition sales.

Currier attributes this interest in large part to a strong 2022 IBS event.

"Attendees were happy to get back to in-person events, and the energy level on the show floor was evident," he added.

Las Vegas always provides a draw as well, and manufacturers are looking for an opportunity to reconnect and get back to business as normal.

"Housing starts have begun to cool, which offers manufacturers a better opportunity to reconnect with customers at the show and continue to establish strong relationships to help fuel future business," Currier noted.

Interested exhibitors should apply soon, as space is filling up fast. Stay tuned for more information about the 2023 IBS, including key events and registration deals.
