As you prepare your schedule for the 2022 NAHB International Builders' Show® (IBS), Feb. 8-10, remember to plan for the NAHB leadership meetings also taking place in Orlando, starting Feb. 4.
These in-person meetings are crucial as the industry continues to deal with disruptions in the building materials supply chain and other challenges that threaten to slow the industry's momentum. Members of NAHB's committees and councils, delegates to the Leadership Council, and members of the Board of Directors will meet to discuss these key issues facing the industry in Orlando.
During the Leadership Council meeting on Thursday, Feb. 10, delegates will consider resolutions and recommendations proposed by fellow delegates. All resolutions and recommendations to be considered by the Leadership Council should be submitted for distribution 30 days prior to the meeting. A resolution or recommendation submitted without the 30 days advance notice can still be considered but must pass by a two-thirds vote.
The full resolution or recommendation should be emailed or mailed to Chuck Fowke, Chairman of the Board of Directors, through Heather Voorman
at NAHB. The deadline for submitting resolutions and recommendations for consideration at IBS is Jan. 3, 2022
. You can learn more about the resolution process on nahb.org
Your IBS registration will grant you access to your respective NAHB leadership meetings; no other registration is required. To view the full NAHB leadership meeting schedule, visit BuildersShow.com
