Election Day is finally upon us, and today is your last chance to make a difference on issues that matter to you and the housing industry.
Voting in person during a pandemic requires a few extra steps: Arrive to your polling place early, wear a face covering and maintain a safe distance of at least six feet while in line.
Now more than ever, it is important to elect pro-housing, pro-business candidates to Congress in order to ensure that the housing and economic recovery continue to move forward. NAHB endorses candidates who have shown a commitment to policies that promote homeownership and rental housing opportunities for all Americans. This year, NAHB endorsed 159 candidates — 11 candidates for Senate and 148 for the House — and honored more than 40 congressmen with the Defender of Housing Award

After you've voted, stay tuned — NAHB will provide a post-election analysis here tomorrow and in a special episode of the Housing Developments
podcast with NAHB CEO Jerry Howard and Chief Lobbyist Jim Tobin.
