Registration is now open for the 76th annual NAHB International Builders’ Show®
(IBS), the largest annual, light-construction trade show in the world. Following a stellar anniversary year
, the show will return to Las Vegas Jan. 21-23, 2020.
As part of the seventh annual Design and Construction Week®, IBS attendees will also have exhibit floor access to the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show®. This co-location offers attendees the opportunity to explore a combined total of 2,000 exhibitors covering more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space at the Las Vegas Convention Center. NAHB members can explore it all by registering for a free expo pass — available only in August — or a full registration package (a $100 savings by Aug. 31).
“It’s our goal for the NAHB International Builders’ Show to be the event of the year for our members and industry professionals,” said NAHB Chairman Greg Ugalde, a home builder and developer from Torrington, Conn. “Nowhere else will you find top-level education sessions, a variety of networking opportunities, special events and an exhibit hall full of innovative products all in one place. This is truly an event you can’t miss.”
Design and Construction Week will kick off Tuesday, Jan. 21, with keynote Earvin “Magic” Johnson. In addition to showcasing great new products, the show will feature a new project management track, and will also reveal cutting-edge information and trends in more than 130 education sessions throughout the week. Separate registration is also available for in-depth education prior to the show through master workshops
(previously known as master sessions), which will be held Monday, Jan. 20.
“This is a quality, quality event every year,” shared Paul Wurth, vice president of sales at Buildertrend, following IBS 2019. “Overall, the show, the organization, the classes that we’ve done and been involved in have been top notch. So it just keeps getting better.”
Attendees can continue to learn and network in niche-specific IBS Centrals, as well as in the IBS Safety Zone, High Performance Building Zone, IBS Live and the CEDIA Pavilion.
Be sure to mark your calendars for top events
throughout the week, including:
- Tuesday, Jan. 21: Official IBS House Party
- Wednesday, Jan. 22: IBS Young Pro Party
- Thursday, Jan. 23: NAHB Meeting of the Members, featuring keynote speaker Danica Patrick, and the IBS Closing Concert, featuring Grammy award-winning band The Doobie Brothers
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour NAHB’s official IBS show homes, The New American Home®
and The New American Remodel®
. The homes showcase innovative building technologies, emerging design trends
and the latest building products. The products showcased in the homes are provided by members of the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, and Professional Builder
and Professional Remodeler
magazines will once again serve as the media sponsors of the 2020 show homes.
IBS is not open to the general public. Building industry professionals and their affiliates are invited to register at BuildersShow.com
. Sign up by Aug. 31 to take advantage of savings up to $100.
